Zaqatala PFK Nigerian footballer, Michael Umanyika, has been reported dead in Azerbaijan.
The 20-year-old who joined the club last season passed on after he slumped during the club's training earlier on Tuesday, the club’s website has revealed.
According to reports, all efforts by his teammates and medics to revive him were unsuccessful and he was confirmed dead shortly afterwards.
This was his first training since he returned from Nigeria where he spent his summer holidays.
He joined Zagatala PFK last season and has only played 20 times.
