Nigerian youth international Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Dutch club, NEC Nijmegen, on a one-year loan deal.
The 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner joined Liverpool last summer from local side, Imperial Soccer Academy but he is yet to feature in an official game for the club.
Awoniyi spent last season on loan at German second division side FSV Frankfurt.
He failed to impress at the club, scoring once in 14 games for the side who got relegated to the third their of the German league.The move to NEC is still subject to him getting a work permit.
