Former governor of Anambra State; Mr. Peter Obi and some top officials of Lagos State Government
Wednesday opened a new medical centre built by the Auto Spare Parts & Machinery Dealers’ Association (ASPMDA) at Lagos International Trade Fair complex, Badagry expressway.
Speaking at the commissioning of the hospital, the member representing Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Hon Oghene Emma Egoh thanked the efforts of the traders in creating jobs and contributing to the economy.
According to him, about N57 million has been earmarked in the 2016 federal budget for the repair of roads at the Trade Fair complex.
Earlier in his welcome address, the President of ASPMDA, Chief Daniel Offorkansi said the hospital project was topmost in his campaign promises and he has delivered it in record time to save lives in the complex.
Offorkansi also listed other achievements of his administration to include provision of security, sanitation, urinal points, electricity, and reconstruction of the security posts.
Other dignitaries that graced the commissioning include the Ezeigbo of Lagos State, Igwe Hyacinth Ohazulike, the PRO of APC, Lagos State, Mr. .Joe Igbokwe and the State Commissioner for Trade and Investments represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry.
