Ebola Epidemic is back!!! Kills 3 in Congo

The case was confirmed from tests on nine people who came down with a hemorrhagic fever in Bas-Uele province in the northeast of the country on or after April 22, the statement said – adding that at least two of the sufferers are known to have died.
Ebola – aka Ebola hemorrhagic fever – is a rare and deadly disease caused by an infection.
It can cause disease in humans and nonhuman primates like monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees.
It comes after a huge outbreak of the disease across west Africa – including the Congo – in 2014/15 which left thousands dead.
Numerous British aid agencies were involved in caring for the sick and families of the dead victims struck down by the killer disease.
They included British Ebola nurse Pauline Cafferkey who MirrorOnline reported last month was returning to Sierra Leone for the first time since contracting the killer virus there.
The Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain winner said she hopes the fundraising trip this month will help to bring “closure” after a “terrible couple of years”.
