Policemen allegedly beats civil defense officer to death

A Civil Defense officer has allegedly been beaten to death, right front of his little son and other family members in Abuja

According to reports, tragedy struck when a Civil Defense officer identified as Jumbo Ogah Ochigbo, was said to be driving through a against traffic in  Nyanya area of Abuja, when men of the Nigerian Police force stopped him and confronted him.

However, in the cause of the resulting confrontation, he was assaulted to death in the presence of his wife and children. His body has since been deposited at the Nyanya General Hospital, Abuja.
