Rivers Police Arrests 3 for Allegedly Killing Jumia Delivery Agent (Photos)

The Rivers state police command yesterday arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a Jumia delivery man who had gone to deliver an iphone and a motorbike to a prospective buyer at a compound in the Ada-George area of Rivers state on Saturday March 25th.

On Saturday, when the victim went to make the delivery at the address at Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, the suspects which included two males and a female, who never intended to pay, bound the man and threw him into a septic tank with the hopes that he would never be found.

According to OAP, Blessing Olomu, who shared the story online, the victim's body was recovered by a team of police officers today after neighbors reported suspicious activities within the compound.

Nigerian Army Detains 6 Soldiers For Mercilessly Beaten A Lady In Ikorodu

The Nigerian Army have detained 6 soldiers over brutalized Ikorodu lady, this is according to their below press release

ALLEGED CASE OF BRUTALLIZATION BY SOLDIERS

1. The attention of Headquarters 81 Division Nigerian Army has been drawn to the social media and Newspapers online reports on “Alleged brutalization of a female by soldiers”. The incident occurred in Odoguyan,
Ikorodu area of Lagos state involving soldiers of 174 Battalion on Sunday 12 March 2017

2. The alleged incident is highly regrettable, even as the Division under the Nigerian Army has zero tolerance for inhuman treatment. Discipline remains the bedrock of the Nigerian Military Profession. It is quite disheartening when such incidences occur even though isolated will not be treated with any laxity.

Consequently, a Board of Inquiry has been constituted by the Commander 9 Brigade, Brigadier General Elias Attu to investigate the
circumstances that led to the incident, determine the level of the soldiers involvement, submit its findings and recommend appropriate disciplinary measures which will be communicated. The female has been taken to
hospital where she is responding to treatment while 6 soldiers are being detained in regards to the incident.

Gentlemen of the press, may I thank you for your timely information in bringing such incidences to fore. The Division remains committed to its tasks as part of the constitutional mandate of the Nigerian Army. It continues to enjoin all to be law abiding and count on their support and cooperation.

Jealous NAF personnel who killed colleague-girlfriend in Benue wrote a suicide note but couldn't pull the trigger on himself

A Nigerian Airforce officer, Lieutenant Kalu, who shot his colleague and girlfriend, Solape Oladipupo to death left a suicide note before committing the heinous crime.

According to reports, the officer is currently alive and being detained by the Airforce authorities. He is also being interrogated as authorities are still investigating the murder and attempted suicide case.

The officer, Kalu had shot and killed his girlfriend Solape Oladipupo after accusing her of double dating at the Air Force Base in Makurdi, Benue State. That occurred on Sunday morning at the Makurdi Airforce Base. 

However, in the suicide note, the killer officer made no apologies for his plans. In fact, he even said “Most idiot would insult me” but he would rather be called “crazy lover who died for heartbreak.” 

The note read thus:

“It’s a privilege for me writing this note because it would be read by most of men. 
It’s a love story of a guy falling in love with a wrong witch who pretended to be good in my eyes and in the eyes of my loving mother. Am a simple guy who never partake in namevarious (nefarious) activities. Most individuals say I have a future here it is. Am a guy who pull two rounds in a witch and one round to my fucking body. 
For it is said he who kill by the sword shall die by it. 
Most idiot would insult me, yes! If I were to be in there shoes I would do the same likewise if they were to be in my shoe, they would even pull more than three rounds on the witch. 
Call me crazy lover who died for heartbreak.”

Jealous Nigerian Air Force personnel kills himself and his colleague/girlfriend in Benue state

A Nigerian Air Force personnel with Facebook name, Lieut Kal has killed himself and his classmate/girlfriend, Oladipupo Solape a.k.a Shomzy Shomzy in Markudi Benue state. 

According to their classmates, he killed her out of jealousy.

In series of Facebook posts Kal shared before he killed his girlfriend and himself, he described yesterday as his last day as an airman and even wished himself 'RIP'. It is believed that his last post which is '4:36' was the time he killed the young girl. 

Most of his Facebook post shows that he may have been obsessed with the girl as he tags her on all his post and has even declared that he could kill for her. Shomzy however stopped tagging him in her Facebook posts since January, 2017 indicating that they may have broken up.

U.S-Based Nigerian Man Disgraced After Storming Unizik To Beat Up His Lover’s Boyfriend (Photos)

There was drama at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University School of Pharmacy, Agulu, Anambra State, today, when a man who just returned from the U.S, stormed the campus, to fight for the love of his supposed girlfriend. 

Trouble started, last night, when he called the girl, while studying during night class, and that girl’s boyfriend, on campus, picked the call. In the course of their conversation, the boyfriend threatened to beat the U.S returnee.

Angered by the threat, he went to the campus today to teach him a lesson. On getting there, he called the supposed boyfriend, but coincidentally, an innocent student was also receiving a call close by.

Thinking that the innocent student was the boyfriend and was answering his call, he pounced on him and started beating him until security operatives intervened. He and his accomplice were eventually disgraced out of the campus.

President Buhari calls Gowon

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday called to commiserate with former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd), over the passing away of his younger sister, Kande Martha Audu. 

This was contained in a statement by the presidential media adie, Mr. Femi Adesina.

The President, who called from London, extended his deepest condolences to General Gowon and his family, urging them to take solace in the fact that Mrs. Audu lived a worthy and exemplary life. 

“Death is an inevitable end that must come to all mortals, and we must keep praying and working to ensure that we live a life that pleases our Creator and benefits humanity,” President Buhari said. 

He also prayed God to comfort the grieving family and grant rest to the soul of Mrs. Audu. 

Gowon in response thanked President Buhari for the commiserations and assured him of his continuous prayer for the unity and progress of the country, adding that Nigerians were also praying for the President’s quick recovery

Pastor Johnson Suleiman accused of impregnating a canadian based Nigerian woman, Stephanie Otobo

Controversial founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, is currently enmeshed in an adultery scandal as a Canadian based Nigerian woman, Stephanie Otobo, has filed a N500 million lawsuit against him for allegedly getting her pregnant and dumping her. This is according to a letter sent to the IG of police by Festus Keyamo chambers on behalf of Stephanie

According to Court papers, Suleiman and Stephanie met in 2016 in Canada and allegedly began a secret affair. She claimed he informed her of his plan to divorce his wife, Lizzy, to marry her and have more male children.


Stephanie, who is a musician with stage name Kimora, left her base in Canada to Nigeria so she can be close to her pastor/secret lover. She says during sex, Pastor Suleiman would lick her all over her body including her vagina and had suggested that they have group sex with her friends. Stephanie says he got her detained after she told him she was pregnant.

She says she has naked photos as well as screenshots of raunchy messages they sent to themselves.
 Stephanie claims she became a member of the Apostle Suleiman’s church, and followed him every where. He sent her money regularly according to her and she claims he asked her to get pregnant.

But when she informed him in September 2016 that she was pregnant in a hotel in Ikeja, Stephanie claims Apostle Suleman flew into a rage and asked her to abort it, fearing scandal.

Stephanie claims that Pastor Suleiman gave her a concoction that made her bleed and he ended their relationship.

According to the story, Stephanie went to Warri and relayed the whole story to another pastor who recorded it and started using it to extort money from Suleman.

Stephanie said she returned to Canada afterwards but Apostle Suleman contacted her again, apologized and asked her to return to Nigeria. And when she returned to Nigeria last week, she claims he put money into her account and subsequently froze the account.

It was will Stephanie was trying to withdraw money from the account at a UBA bank after her ATM refused to work, that she was arrested on orders of Apostle Suleman who had reported her of being a blackmailer.

After her arrest, Stephanie filed a lawsuit against Apostle Suleman demanding to be paid N500million as damages for not honoring his promise to marry her and for harassment and threat to her life.

In the letter to the Inspector-General of Police, Keyamo Chambers said Stephanie was arrested on March 3 at a UBA branch in Anthony Village by heavily armed policemen from Federal Criminal Investigations Department (FCID), Alagbon. She's since been in detention where her lawyers claim they have denied her access to them.

Keyamo Chambers has given Suleman a 7-day ultimatum to release Stephanie, meet their demands or be dragged to court

Bride gives birth to baby boy a day after marriage in Kano....and this happens

It was angst,  embarrassment and pains among Muslim Umma  in Kano State last week  as report had it that one of the brides in the state-sponsored mass-wedding,  Habiba Inusa, put to bed, a baby boy, the day after she was joined with her bride in matrimony.  This punctured the joy of the city dwellers .

The outrage by residents was normal in a highly religious society that abhors and detest pre-marital sex.

It was seen as a the scandal and left an open-ended question as to why such incident, under a strict religious body like Hisbah board, co-organisers of the ceremony, occurred without detection.

However, Gangare residents  of Doguwa Local Government Area of the state and Kano Hisbah board, were stunned when Habiba Inusa went into labour a day after the wedding. 

In what appeared like a sizzling romantic series,  the new wife put to bed a bouncing baby boy to the utter embarrassment of the people, their culture and faith.

A group known as 'Concerned Nigerians' has given Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari  2 weeks to return to Nigeria, or else ...

Today – March 4th, 2017 – marks 45 days of President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence from his office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and from the country as a whole on a medical vacation in the United Kingdom. During this period, he has not made any public appearances and has only clandestinely “communicated” with very few people.

Furthermore, details of President Buhari’s health status have been kept away from the generality of Nigerians while his media team and other members of his cabinet/party make conflicting comments regarding his health.

2. We acknowledge that during this period President Buhari has satisfied constitutional requirements by transmitting letters to the National Assembly handing power over to his Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, on an acting capacity.

However, during this period President Buhari has created a constitutional dilemma by carrying out official functions. On February 13, 2018 in a capacity as President of Nigeria, he spoke to President Donald Trump of the United States with respect to bilateral relations between the two countries.

On Thursday March 2nd, 2017 again in a capacity as President of Nigeria President Buhari spoke to the King of Morocco with respect to bilateral relations between the two countries as well as Morocco’s application to become a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

3. These actions, as well as President Buhari’s continued vacation, constitute a constitutional dilemma capable of destabilising the country. President Buhari’s insistence on performing the functions of President after having transmitted power to Ag. President Osinbajo in effect creates de-facto and de-jure, which does not bode well for the country.

4. To this end, we urge President Buhari to return to the country on or before the 60th day after which he left the country (15 days from today) failing which we will begin a series of peaceful processions across the country aimed at sensitizing the public as to the legal & constitutional dilemma created by President Buhari’s continued absence from office and his insistence on performing official functions while away.
